The Care Guide

A little care goes a long way. Follow these simple steps to keep your LEMCE essentials feeling soft, holding their shape and lasting season after season.

Wash cold & gentle

Machine wash at 30°C or below on a gentle cycle. Turn garments inside out and use a mild, bleach-free detergent to protect the fabric and any prints.

Air-dry in shade

Skip the tumble dryer. Lay flat or line-dry away from direct sunlight to keep colours rich and the fabric soft and true to size.

Iron low, if needed

Most of our modal and cotton pieces need little to no ironing. If you do, use a low heat and press inside out — never directly over prints.

Store with care

Fold knitwear and innerwear rather than hanging to hold their shape. Keep pieces in a cool, dry drawer away from damp.

Wash inside out in cold water
Use a mild, gentle detergent
Air-dry in shade, flat or on a line
Wash darks and lights separately
Fold to store and keep dry

Don't

Use bleach or harsh whiteners
Tumble dry on high heat
Wring or twist to remove water
Iron directly over prints
Leave damp in a pile after washing

A note on our fabrics

LEMCE essentials are made from soft, breathable modal, cotton and fine stretch blends chosen for everyday comfort. These fabrics love gentle, cold washes and shade drying — treat them kindly and they'll stay silky, colour-true and comfortable wash after wash. Always check the care label stitched into each garment for any specific guidance.
